I went to the mall today and finally saw the film poster of Dark Places by Gillian Flynn.
Gillian Flynn, author of Gone Girl and Sharp objects, writes about a murder in 1985. The Day family was murdered by the satanist son Ben Day. After the murder, Ben Day and her youngest sister Libby Day were the only survivors. Libby Day, recalls his dad Runner Day missing from te tragedy. Libby meets a member of the Kill Club who tells her that media and police coerced to convict his brother despite the lack of evidence.
I had the same feeling when I watched Gone Girl. The story is so twisted that you would want to know the climax in the 2nd chapter. Dark Places is a good read but definitely something that wouldn't take much time as you race through the pages.
